The Battle of Alamance Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the 91ÇÑ×Ó are pleased to present the American Revolution Experience at Alamance Community College from July 2 to 9, 2026.
The innovative pop-up exhibition includes display panels and interactive digital kiosks that use storytelling, illustration, technology and unique artifacts and primary accounts to connect modern audiences with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation.
Hours of Operation
The exhibit is open during the following hours:
- Thu, July 2 | 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Fri - Sun, July 3-5 | CLOSED
- Mon - Thu, July 6-9 | 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Special Events
Wednesday, July 8th, Main Campus, Main Building, Auditorium
- 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. | America 250 Concert, performed by the Hawfields Jammers, a mountain dulcimer group
- 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. | Reading of the Declaration of Independence by historical interpreters and guests
- 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. | Reception, in the Student Activities Center, courtesy of the Battle of Alamance Chapter, NSDAR and a DAR America 250! Community Celebration Grant
