Helena Battlefield

Battery C is on Yorkshire Drive on the west edge of town, several markers there tell the story of the battle. A historic marker at the site of Fort Curtis is located downtown on Perry and Columbia Streets. The Delta Cultural Center on Cherry Street has some local Civil War exhibits, and several Civil War waysides are in Court Square Park downtown. Maple Hill Cemetery contains gravesites of Confederate soldiers who died during the battle. The cemetery is also the final resting place of Confederate Gen. Patrick Cleburne, who was killed at the Battle of Franklin.
