Malvern Hill Battlefield

Located roughly 15 miles from downtown Richmond, the Malvern Hill battlefield is part of the Richmond National Battlefield Park. Here 953 acres of pristine farmland make up this beautiful historic landscape, which retains much of its wartime character. The ruins of the Willis Church Parsonage, near where the Confederate assaults began, are still visible.  The Crew House, near the Federal artillery line, was rebuilt after a fire.  Several walking trails cover the battlefield.
