Rugeley's Fort, Clermont Plantation

Today, the former site of Clermont plantation, located near the intersection of Flat Rock Creek and Grannies Quarters Creek north of Camden, South Carolina, where the Battle of Rugeley’s Mill took place on December 4, 1780, is uninhabited. A historical sign detailing the battle can be found along the interpretive trail series at Battle of Camden National Historic Landmark near Flat Rock Road.
