Stone Mountain Park
1000 Robert E Lee Boulevard
Stone Mountain, GA 30083
United States

Located sixteen miles east of Atlanta, Stone Mountain Park is a 3,200-acre world of recreation and family fun. The centerpiece of the park is Stone Mountain itself, the world's largest exposed mass of granite. The memorial carving on the face of the mountain is about the size of a football field. The carving commemorates the Confederacy, with the figures of Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee, and Stonewall Jackson. The park also features a restored antebellum plantation and the Discovering Stone Mountain Museum, containing a large Civil War collection.
