To commemorate the Civil War's sesquicentennial (2011-2015), the Missouri History Museum's is creating a comprehensive exhibition titled, The Civil War in Missouri. The exhibit explores the complexities of the Civil War through the eyes of Missourians who experienced it first-hand. The once-in-a-lifetime exhibition features American treasures, compelling imagery, and interactive, thought-provoking elements. The Missouri History Museum offers additional exhibitions, programs, events and tours to tell the stories of St. Louis.
